This class is designed for students who have taken an Intro to Copperplate class with Cheryl Dyer. However, anyone with basic Copperplate experience is welcome!
This class will cover the following topics:
basic flourishing
how to customize your Copperplate script
This class is perfect for students who would like to move past basic Copperplate to learn how to make and design simple flourishes as well as modernize or customize their script through a systematic system of experimenting with style variations. Students will leave with the basic knowledge of how to make a unified personal script.
This class is intended for students age 14+
Supplies needed*: Pen holder, your preferred pointed pen nib, smooth paper, writing medium of choice, paper towels, rinse water and other basic calligraphy supplies as needed. Please contact the instructor prior to class if you have questions about supplies
***IMPT: Instructor will email class .pdfs to students prior to class that will need to be PRINTED for reference during class

If registered students are unable to join our live classes, they are invited to watch our recorded class at their leisure. Recorded classes will be available to students via a shared Dropbox folder 2-3 days after live class. Because of class availability option, students unable to attend live will not be issued a refund.
