Brush calligraphy is a contemporary, informal, and expressive lettering style that is easy to personalize and useful for so many kinds of projects.
In this class we will focus on simple, basic shapes of brush calligraphy letters and experiment with using both markers and brushes. Tips will be provided on how to customize letters.
We will start the class with a brief look at historical letterforms to see how they relate to our contemporary versions. And we'll be working with an array of watercolor paints so our letters will really shine!
We will begin a small project after practicing the letterforms. Supplies are included in the cost of tuition. $85
